The display of pictures from the participating costumed bands, steel pan, Caribbean music, arts

and craft, and food that are a cultural representation of the Caribbean islands.

Venue: Lakeshore Park in Miramar with the capacity to accommodate at least twenty five hundred to three thousand (2,500–3,000) people and the relevant parking.

Children aged 2-12 years old dressed in beautiful costumes displaying their Caribbean culture.

( starting from the Main Library and terminating at Huigenga Park, Riverwalk )

Venue: Downtown Ft. Lauderdale

The categories that will compete on that night are (1) Kings and Queens of the

costumed band and (2) featuring Legends of the Caribbean under the stars.

At the beginning of dawn, when strange folklore creatures that could not face the light of day appear in the street making noises before dawn. This is a time when revelers take to the streets in rags and old clothing, (Old Mas), to mark the opening day of carnival on the street.

The Grand Finale, when the parade of bands take to the streets displaying elaborate and colorful costumes dancing to the traditional steel pan, and other live musical bands.

On the official holiday, which is the Monday after the street parade, many of the tourists from colder climates go to the beach to cool down from the past week of activities

This is a formal function to present prizes and awards to the participating carnival bands and sponsors.
